Nike celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the Nike Dunk by releasing the Nike Dunk Low SP White University Red (2020), now available on StockX. The Nike Dunk first debuted in 1985 as part of the Nike College Color program, a program that distributed shoes in the school colors of 12 popular basketball programs, allowing fans to support their favorite teams from head to toe. This St. Johns colorway was among the first collegiate colorways Nike released, breaking the mold of colorways used in basketball shoes.
The Nike Dunk Low SP White University Red is comprised of a white leather upper with red leather overlays. A white midsole, red outsole, and classic Nike logo on the tongue completes the design. These sneakers released in June of 2020 and retailed for $100.
